The West Coast, a land of great contrasts, whether you visit Punakaiki Rocks, TranzAlpine Train discovery, the Glaciers or walking on the uncrowded beaches, watching the sea and enjoying the stunning views, Awatuna Homestead is an excellent base to discover the West Coast.

Accommodation comprises three ensuite bedrooms in the Homestead and a separate self-contained apartment with a further two guestrooms. Set in extensive gardens and natural surroundings. Evenings are for relaxing, whether taking a soak in the hot tub, dining on the fine country cuisine prepared by Pauline, or gathering to listen as Hemi shares the Maori heritage of the site, tales of the early Pacific navigators and traditional stories of his people. For the petrol-heads, vintage Morris cars on site!
