Set in native bush full of birdlife, with views over the harbour and ocean to Slipper Island, Colleith Lodge was purpose built from kiln-fired Hinuera stone. Three ensuite bedrooms are available for guests, each opening to a private patio on the terrace offering great views. A full breakfast is served indoors or alfresco on the terrace.

A small wine cellar stocks a selection of New Zealand wines, and complimentary pre-dinner drinks and nibbles are offered to the guests each evening. Several really good restaurants are available in the local village. An outdoor border collie, Jip, completes the family.
