Quickenberry Guesthouse is located in the high country, above the Rakaia Gorge. Set on Terrace Downs Golf Resort with rural views up the Rakaia River to the surrounding mountains. Accommodation comprises four super-king/ twin guestrooms, all with ensuites and balconies, a spacious guest lounge with exposed beams, open fireplace and sunny courtyard, and a cosy library. Swiss-born chef Robert presents an exquisite four-course evening meal and also offers a range of cooking lessons for small groups, with themes covering anything from dinner party food to exotic European fare.
