The CottagesAuckland, Matakana, Warkworth
description
Overlooking a large subtropical garden with native tui and fantails, hidden pathways and rest areas, The Cottages have rural views to the Mahurangi Harbour. Both cottages are self-contained with lounges opening to large private sundecks where alfresco dining is popular while enjoying the sunsets. The fully equipped kitchens enable guests to self-cater, and complimentary wine is provided.
The Cottages feature a South Pacific flavour with artefacts from the Pacific Islands complementing the Maori and other New Zealand artworks. There are two queen-size ensuite bedrooms in Tui Cottage and one in Fantail Cottage, all bedrooms opening to separate private decks. Shops, vineyards and restaurants are just a short drive away.
